LIVE

After 18 months streaming 24/7 from its first location, the World Organ has slightly shifted location and is now directly overlooking Lowlandman’s Bay on the Isle of Jura. It’s part sound installation, part environmental art. The audio you experience on the link below is coming straight from the World Organ’s vantage point looking and listening across a stretch of sea known as the Sound of Jura.
Take time to listen, and get immersed – probably best enjoyed on some good headphones.
N.B. In many ways, Jura has fragile links to the rest of the world. This includes our internet connection and sometimes this live stream needs to be refreshed. That creates a new link for the current stream. We always provide that from this page so, to be connected with Jura, always come here rather than returning to Youtube.

Thanks Jan!
Thanks everyone who checked out the wee moment last night. I’ll be doing another thing on Wednesday, I’m being joined by my old friend Rob Mills, from Echo City. It’ll be another short moment of something different. Please join us on this page at 21:00BST. Don’t be late.
Tomorrow evening Sun 20, at 2100BST, I’ll be staging a sonic/musical intervention as the WORLD ORGAN streams live. It’ll be a blink and you’ll miss it thing, so tune in if you’re interested in listening to something a little bit different happen.
One of those very still evenings here, but there’s enough movement to activate the organ.
So that was a complete computer/network meltdown while I was off site for a few days, but I’m back and aim to get the live stream fixed. meanwhile there’s still an 11 hour stream to listen to . Many thanks to neighbour Amy for helping out!
